Being competitive is NOT healthy, and is a waste of resources!! Striving to be your best IS!! Everybody's path is different and we all have our own unique purpose in life. Trying to achieve because of yourself is what you should aim at, but to achieve because you are comparing yourself to others will lead you to nothing but despair/temporary joy and only further delay attaining your own destiny and is therefore "A WASTE OF TIME" in a way, and there's no way of telling how far reaching the effects would be. Doubt this? Take a closer look at your life (at the times you did this, if you ever did)and the lives of those close to you!! It is indeed the ultimate to know WHO YOU ARE!!This Quirky Chichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02346763277323290868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8003642059007103779.post-61532931790726391792010-06-16T08:19:53.977-06:002010-06-16T08:19:53.977-06:00hahahahah.. trouble maker :Dhahahahah.. trouble maker :DNightingalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12442748170546096690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8003642059007103779.post-54218575998437642532010-06-15T16:17:02.087-06:002010-06-15T16:17:02.087-06:00I think being competitive is healthy///lolI think being competitive is healthy///lolBeauty Magnethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18146157417438713742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8003642059007103779.post-3781219479787667042010-06-14T12:12:07.237-06:002010-06-14T12:12:07.237-06:00Thanks Mo you are so right "we need to ensure...Thanks Mo you are so right "we need to ensure that when we experience feeling of envy or comparison or whatever that we follow with actions of happiness for them and thoughts of gratefulness for what we have."<br /><br />Cos the truth is those feelings will come but you have to deal with them consciously.Nightingalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12442748170546096690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8003642059007103779.post-43551598144859492532010-06-14T09:53:05.923-06:002010-06-14T09:53:05.923-06:00I like the Ms Nightingale, perfect for you my dear...I like the Ms Nightingale, perfect for you my dear. You're so right though because in life everyone's path is different and the thing is, you never know where a person has been and is going so on what basis do we start to compare what we have with theirs. We all experience envy, it's a feeling, and feelings aren't right or wrong in themselves, it's what we do with them that counts (i.e, the actions that follow those feelings); we need to ensure that when we experience feeling of envy or comparison or whatever that we follow with actions of happiness for them and thoughts of gratefullness for what we have. But thanks for that, it's always good to be reminded that we all walk different roads in life, we need to appreciate and cherish that instead of looking at how nicely tarred someone elses road isTits and Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03487314666730774243noreply@blogger.com
