"Not Wat we say about our blessings, but how we use or treat them is the true measure of our thanksgiving"
If my parents got me a beautiful gift and I said thank you to them yet I let it lie carelessly around the house. Would they still believe I'm thankful for that gift??
What are you thankful for? Who are you thankful for?
Are you thankful for life?? How do you treat it?
Are you thankful for your health?? Do you take care of it? Do you eat the right things?? Do you exercise??
Are you thankful for your spouse?? Do your actions show that you are thankful to have them in your life??
Are you thankful for your family?? Do you love and respect them? When was the last time you were in touch with them?
Are you thankful for your job? Do you wake up each day determined to do better than you did yesterday?
Are you thankful for your food??? How much did you waste yesterday??
Are you thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made on your behalf?? When was the last time you remembered His sacrifice when you were faced with sin or temptation?
Are you thankful for your finances?? Are you managing it appropriately or leaving above your means??
I can go on and on about what all the things we say we are thankful for.. yet our actions fall short of thanks giving.
Its a new week and I'm sure we all have countless blessings in our lives. Lets make the effort to go beyond the words and let our actions express our thanksgiving to God and the people in our life
Please comment/share one thing you are thankful for and a corresponding action you plan to take to express your thanks!! I'll begin:)
