His Unique Answers

God has been really faithful in my life.. even when I have been faithless. God just answer a major prayer request for me! And I decided to open up my journal and write about it. In the process... I read through all my initial write ups.. Reading through all of my prayer request I see how faithful and loving God has been and still is. For some of the request, I got a NO! and today I'm so happy it was a NO. For some I wanted and immediate response but a got a delay... the delayed thought me so much about myself and what I was waiting receive. And for some, my expectations were exceeded.

Over the years, I have come to realise that writing my prayer request or my conversations with God have helped strengthen my faith in Him.. Because when I read through them I go back to that place I was when I wrote them.  I compare it to how far I have come and all I see is the faithfulness and love of God. Most importantly I know that God knows me wayyyyy.. More than I think I know myself!!!!

Feeling down today? Feeling faithless? Talk to God and write about it. If you already have a journal, go back and read it. When everything seems down.... Remember God is up to something:) And with God.. No news is good news because He is putting together something that would blow your mind:)

Enon: Some friends are just crazy... How can they say this picture is beautiful? Whats beautiful about this girl? Anjy, come see this picture!

Anjy: Ah the babe is not fine at all.. Facebook users are wired.. now they will make this girl feel on top of the world for no reason.

Enon: Truth is, she is not bad looking... but not as good as all her friends claim.

Anjy: Pls Enon, there is no use lying to ppl. Its better not to make a comment.

How many times have you heard conversations like that?? The other part of that conversation is when people think a guy or girl is too fine for their bf or girl friend!!! I have over heard those conversations a couple of times or read comments like above about pictures people post on facebook or other social networks. Everyone has been created beautiful as far as I am concerned, but what makes one person more beautiful than the other.... Here goes my 2 cents!!

1. One man's meat is another man's poison... What one person considers beautiful is not beautiful to the other.

2. Beauty is a combination of both internal and external factors. Therefore  you may think someone I call beautiful is not beautiful. The difference most time is that I see both the internal and external and you are seeing just the external and vice versa. 

I personally believe beauty is a combination of internal and external factors... what do you think?? Does one out weigh the other??

72 days Vs 72 years

In a world where some marriages end in 72days, today on the news I heard about a 94year old man and a 90years old woman who were married for 72years and both died on the same day one hour apart from each other.. laying side by side on their hospital bed!!!

Their son  said  that his father would continuously say, 'I have to stick around. I can't go until she does because I have to stay here for her and she would say the same thing.'

He  also said 'I don't believe there was a big secret to their marriage. Sometimes one or the other would get mad but they worked everything out. 'In the end, they chose each other and that was it. They were committed.'

Their daughter also said they were both inlove and always took care of each other!

• They chose each other and that was it
• They were committed
• They were in love
• They took care of each other

Sounds simple and easy right??? Yes, it  sure does but unfortunately we see so much of the opposite in our would today.

I believe being inlove with anyone is a choice! It is a decision, not a feeling and requires conscious effort! And commitment! You chose him or her and that's it

Personally I think our world of today is making so much mockery of the institution of marriage that was created by God to be enjoyed and successful. It is very sad!! On tv, in church, in communities and countries.. they are sad and scary stories about marriages.

Which is why I totally loved this story because we all need a simple remind that God created the union of marriage to be enjoyed and successful. Two people choosing to live together, love each other, makes mistakes, learn together, forgive each other and grow together.

Happy new month!!!! Today I was reminded on what my mind should focus on at all times and I thought I should share with you. God wants to  make everything work together for us in excellent harmonies and it all begins with out minds. Sometimes it maybe difficult but it requires conscious effort and you will see the difference.
